Nice work. Ive got some alloy wheels I will need done at some point. The factory coating is coming up in places, but I like the look of the wheels.
Post a few pic's of your oven
Guys, my apologies, I haven't been on here in forever. I'll post up a whole mess of pics tomorrow, we've been busy!
Azzy, do you still need the wheels done?
As promised, here some pics of a few parts that we have done recently. I have a few photos when the oven in the background, I can take more if you wanted to see more flimmy.
Some panhead and dirtbike parts. I polished the triple trees and took the parting line out them before shooting powder:

Did some YF450f parts in Titanium candy blue, it was shot over a chrome base (the chrome powder really does look like chrome, hard to tell that it is powder coat) These look awesome in the sun:

Some new Harley mini apes that use to be chrome, now flat black (notice the masking on the knurling to ensure proper clampage):

Some other random Harley parts that use to be chrome, keep in mind, this chrome was like new before we coated it. If there are any voids, chips, flakes...anything on the chrome, there is nothing that can be done to ensure a good finish, besides having the chrome chemically stripped. When we prep the chrome for powder, we sand everything by hand and only scruff the chrome, we do not remove any. Chrome parts also cannot be blasted because the chrome just wants to pit like crazy when we hit it with the blaster.

Honda Ruckus stock front wheel and custom 8" wide rear wheel done in Metallic Bronze with Clear Vision (100% gloss) clear coat. I am kicking myself for not getting any photos of these and the next pieces in the sun. I was almost shocked when I saw how much they popped in the sun...

There are some special edition OZ 3-piece wheel faces that we did for the same guy in the same color. They are going onto a pretty sweet RHD turbo diesel jetta (not into tuners, but the car is pretty freakin slick, i could appreciate!)

This is just some of the stuff that we have been doing lately. We've come a pretty long way in fairly short period of time! I also updated the original post with our current capabilities. Stripping alloy wheels for powdercoating is no longer an issue, we have done quite a few sets since I have been on here. We got that awesome chemical stripper that I had mentioned before. It took our wheel stripping timeline from 3 days, down to 3 hours! It is now worth our time to do wheels lol so let me know! Via PM or email to WashingtonPowderCoating(at)gmail.com!
Hey, guys! Are you still powder coating? I have some sliders I'd like to have done in satin black.
