    2000 XJ rough idle....Help?

I can't find any vaccume hose issues.
the throttle and iac are clean
    the tps looks good.
    I replaced the cps...

any other ideas or tips? she doesn't want to turn over... but does and once she does she runs fine with my foot on the peddal. but sometimes at red lights her idle dips so low and shudders the whole truck....

    what can I check?

Plugs, wires, cap & rotor, O2 (just replace them, you should have two. Use a 7/8 wrench IIRC) Fuel filter.

If you fix this, please post back up what you found. I had this issue with my old jeep and got rid of it before I found the cause.

Edit: I think a light will come on if you have a bad 02, for your year.

a light should come on for an o2 sensor for any year, i would think anyway, its probably not that but it'd be worth it to change them if you never did anyway, and if you can afford it, i think they are kinda pricey

I always start with cheap ish first.. I put some high octane fuel and some fuel injector cleaner and she seems to be running great.... may just be a band aid.. but I dunno...
there were no idiot lights on.. so maybe she was jjust gunked up.

time will tell,, it ot starts again I'll pull the o2 sensors and have a look... there looks like there are three of them one up top on the manifold and two under nieth is that right?

isn't my fuel filter in the gas tank?

The filter is just in front of the tank. You can almost see it in this pic..

You're right about the 02s. My 94 had 1, the 96 has 2, and yours probably has 3 LOL.

Try some of that stuff that's supposed to clear up water in the gas tank. I've never tried it but I know it's out there.

Yeah. Most do the 24lb injectors when doing a stroker. Just stick with the stock rated injectors. The mustang injectors won't do anything because the CPU will regulate everything anyway.
