A few pics... I had a rough weekend.
Friday I broke the ears off the driver side d30 shaft and tacoed my tie rod on a waterfall. I limped it out as I started down the road to someones house with air tools my passenger side ujoint went out. I had to run back to camp for spare shafts. I got them in and back on the road around 11pm. 20 miles from camp my passenger hub seizes and throws me in a ditch. I also realize that the shafts I got had different ears on them so they were hitting the hub bolts and binding when I turned. So I was broke down in gods country and my cell died and I was all alone. Fellow Jeeper rolls by and tells me he will get his rollback and take me back to camp. At 3am I finished changing to TJ shafts and a old hub.
Saturday I take it to the trail. Couldnt top 40mph since there is something knocking around underneath and my balljoints are now shot. All goes well and it stays together. I slice a sidewall on my last small creek crawl before leaving. The tires had about 150 miles on them. boooo Changed to my spare and took it back to camp. Drove 40 miles or so at 45 mph and got it towed the last 100.
Did I mention I got pulled over... found out my license is suspended for an unpaid ticket as well. FML
