I am going to be installing rear disk brakes on my xj and was wondering if I need to upgrade my brake booster, master cylinder or proportioning valve. or if there is additional equipment I need to purchase. Thanks, Steve

What year XJ?
When I did this swap on my '99 with ZJ parts, only other thing I changed was to use the poportioning valve from the ZJ.. One of the best upgrades I ever did on my old XJ.

You can change the proportioning valve or take your proportioning valve apart and take the o-ring out. Thats what I did on mine. Didn't have the valve from the donor. Has worked well for the last year.

Any questions, feel free to ask
