    Yota making noise

I noticed a thump feeling on the floorboards at highway speeds. It's slow though not really at speed like if you had a noise from a bubble in the tire that changes depending on speed. My tires aren't balanced at all but there is no shimmy or anything. Any ideas?

    check all your bushings....

is it only when you hit bumps? or is it repeated, as if it were something in the tire...

haha it's repeated I guess it could be something in my tires. I'm gonna check everything underneath when I change my gear oil and grease all my u joints. I guess it could be something dumb and easy to find.

If someone has a good idea for a catback that isn't so damn loud that'd be helpful too.

Yeah it has a flowmaster that dumps right under the truck, next to the rear wheels. It's old but doesn't have any holes so maybe I will just run it out the back for now.

is it a steady bump or random? if its random it might be a muffler hanger. my rear one broke beforeand it would hit the floor when i was accelerating, going over a bump, etc. it would do the same. right now i have a temporary rig with the muffler bolted on to the cat and thats it and if somebody in the next county farts itll hit the floorboard. oh and by the way, i have the old exhaust from my XJ which was pretty quiet if you want it assuming gibson hasnt practiced welding on it or played dodgeball with it. its a little beat up but its still good which i wish i wouldve realized before i cut it off.
