    HID lights

Have some HID lights on my truck and one of them was not working tonight. I think I read some where that when HID's go out they usually flicker instead of just dieing on your. Mine just completely went out and I was just checking to see if maybe it might be a bad connection or something.

Definately go back through all of your connections..especially if you used crimp connectors. HIDs unit usually have an extremely long life so something probably just wiggled loose. Good luck, I hope you get it fixed.

I think a lot of guys that are ordering them from cheaper online places are having lots of problems with the ballasts. Even arriving, installing, turning on once then they just go bad.

I have actually had these for about 3-4 years and they have been great. So I figured they might be near the end of their life but thought a bad connection was possible.

correct. Also, if you are using HIDs you need a projector with a cutoff or else HIDs + non-cutoff headlight = blind on-coming traffic.

it all depends on your headlight design. not the legal part, but the cut off part.
