Emergency Brake Problems

Hey guys,

So I was messing around in the Jeep yesterday, and the "brake" light came on....guess something made a connection because previously it had not worked. Unfortunately now I realize that my E- Break when disengaged does not make contact with the switch to shut the darn thing off. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this could be fixed?

There is a 1/4 in nut that holds the "switch" in place you can loosen and adj it from there.

Ok that nut is right under the dash right.....

Yes find the wire off the back of the e-brake assembly twards the firewall.
