what happened to load range d

all i can find are c's and e's and this weird numerical load rating

i want to go to d's on my f150 the c's just seem a little squirrely when towing
It's a 4.0L...no matter what you do, it's going to make a funny noise.

And if you can get a forklift moving at 100MPH on electric, I want in on that project, sounds like a good time!

I bought Ds about 4-5 years ago and was told then they are begining to phase them out. I haven't seen them forever. For curiousity sake what are you running in the Cs for pressure ? F150s came with P rated tires so a "C" class tire would more the than exceed all weight limits for you truck. Not trying to start a fire but I would think a D or E on a half ton is over kill.

I think you can get the coopers in C's or D's....mine are C's.

For load range D's I bought a set 2 years ago. GT radial Adventuro MT's. 285/75/16's and they were under 175 with mount and balance. Of course that was in Punxsy.
