If you are changing the forearm grip, you will need the tool to do it with out scratching. Let me know if you need to borrow it.

The pursuader is a by product of the company they bought up a lil bit ago. Some jam alot, i hope yours is the revised one from the actual Mossberg company and not the blank form the old company just stamped through mossberg. Maybe try to sell it and get the good one, the 590 shorty (18''). Try it first for home defense and see if it jams, you might get lucky

The persuader is a high cab, short barrel 500 that has been around for a long time. The parts are interchangable with any other 500.

I think your thinking of the Maverick 88 which is made in mexico I believe, but is still a nice shotgun I have one.

got it home and put together. holds 7 plus 1. every one after 3 i put in i was like ok this is the last one, no this one is, no this one haha. so im happy with that.

Looks good!I don't know if your interested in some type of optics for you gun but if look at Ollie's (if you have one close by) you can get a scope mount for around $10.00 I got one a few months ago but never put it on.

and yeah man, i like it a lot better this way. funny thing, it fits me fully collapsed. any bit out and its too long haha

You can get an under barrel light clamp, and clamp it to the mag tube instead of the barrel. My buddy has one with a laser and sure fire, both activated by pressure switches on the foregrip. It's pretty sweet.

how do i know if i have a "maverick" ? cause theres some things i want for it and it says mavericks dont work.

Maverick Is an off brand of Mossberg your gun should say Mossberg,500,or persuader on it,if it's a Maverick it will say that or model 88.

I can see its a Mossberg 500 the 500 has the tang safety, a Maverick 88 has its safety near the trigger guard. And again it will say it right on the side.

Its made by mossberg but with mexican made parts, its like a ford explorer and a mercury mountaineer different brands of the same thing.

How do you like that m4 stock on the shotgun? Personally I hated it because I couldn't get a cheek weld on it like you would on a ar/m16 type rifle. to each his own i guess....have fun shooting!
