    Its about time they did this, I know its not huge, but it needed done. I hate watching TV getting all relaxed and then BAM!!!!! tv commercial

    Isn't there like a war or huge unemployment rate or something going on ? I guess not, glad they take care of these issues during the down time.

    The commercials have always seemed louder because shows reserve some "headroom" for action scenes. Let's say most shows will typically run at 3db signal, and go up to 9 at a loud action scene - while the commercials just start out at 8db nice and loud and stay there.

    It annoys me, but I don't think the goverment has any damn business making laws about it. Seriously, IT'S FREAKIN' TELEVISION. Asshats in office...

    Just an FYI, this was mostly sarcasm, I don't even watch TV anymore. Yeah, it was annoying, but the Gov need not get involved. Its stupid... Didn't mean to start like three diferent threads haha
