    A little shotgun fab:

To secuely mount a light and magazine extension on your shotgun first buy a steel mag extension. Choate makes them from steel and they seem to be well made.
Then get a piece of steel accessory rail.

Install the mag extension and mark where you want the rail to go. Then remove it, sand off the coating on it and the piece of rail and clamp it to the tube. The mag extension is thin so use 4 big tack welds on the ends and keep the majority of the heat on the piece of rail.

Paint it with flat rustoleum, hit it with a heat gun or something to harden it after it dries and install it on the shotgun. This is a surefire or similar in an inexpensive mount purchased at at gun show.

The end result. Note that the light illuminates the front sight so the rifle sights are useable in the dark and that the light is almost centered where the gun is aimed.

    Looks good.

Too bad for Dick that will only work on shotguns.
