I bought my first set of brackets. Then I decided to go double triangulated 4 link and cut them off. Made my own brackets out of square tube and 1/4 inch plate.

The write up tells you everything. There are a bunch of shortcuts you can take, it's up to you how much you want to do.

    Keys to think about:
Set your pinion angle then weld your brackets.
    Weld your tubes.
Keep everything square, but you should have adjustable arms and track bar for small imperfections.
Any questions ask, your not the first to do it, only mistake you should make is one you don't ask about.

8.8 swap for sure. Don't waist the cash on the 35 IMO. You're obviously going to wheel if you're wanting to beef anything up but the 35 isn't that axle.

I did 1 last winter wasnt bad just take your time. i think i got my lower brackets from ballistics fab and used the original top brackets, and ballistic spring mounts(the spring mounts sat higher than the originals and makes the jeep sit higher in the back)

For your angles, use a magnetic angle finder. You can get them for a few bucks at places like Lowes.

Measure your driveshaft angle, then make the pinion angle match the driveshaft. Use blocks or jackstands and shims to hold the axle in place. Then use the angle finder to set the spring pad at 0 degrees so the spring will sit verticle. Tack weld it in place. Then position the rest of the brackets and tack them into place. Once they are all tacked, Measure and measure again. Make any adjustments and finish welding.
