i have an xd 40 won it at a gun raffle was going to sell it till the first time i shot it, nice construction quality built. kinda pricey though but youre getting your moneys worth
It's a 4.0L...no matter what you do, it's going to make a funny noise.

And if you can get a forklift moving at 100MPH on electric, I want in on that project, sounds like a good time!

I have to say the XDM. The XDM .45 will be my next carry gun.

I think mark is going after an XD after he came out to my place.

Glock vs XD...I have yet to shoot a glock, but I have held them and at first there isn't much difference to me, in my opinion, but the Glock didn't have all the features the XD had and felt "cheaper" but I know they work. My buddy who I was shopping with left the glock and took home the XD45 and hasn't looked back. I won't knock the Glock (nice rhyme), but I'm not interested in them after the flawless experience I've had with XD handguns.

So what did you get? Kinda funny you had 2 45's and a 357sig in the same option. The 357Sig ammo isn't much bigger than a 9mm or 40.

Going with the XD and yes the 357sig is around the size of 9mm but with a whole lot whoop ass behind it.

But .357sig is alot harder to find.

For every box .357sig you find in the zombie apocalypse you will come across 8-10 boxes of 9mm/.40sw/.45acp

TJ now with the power of a 5.2L vs 2.5L get same gas mileage....crap.

2nd reason I passed on it.

    Also why I have a 9, 40 and 45.

My wife asked me why I need one of every kind of pistol, I said, "So post apocalypse I can always find ammo.

I carry a 357 Sig at work, had no input in the matter. It shoots flat and hits hard at extended ranges (over 50 yards), and it penetrates very well, especially on auto glass and sheet metal. The agencies that issue it (TX DPS, VASP, NCSP, GASP, NMSP, etc.) like it a lot. As far as the ammo, I find it locally with no problem, and it costs about as much as .45 ACP. My ammo is issued, but I do buy extra to shoot in GSSF events and things like that. The 357 Sig is actually .355 (9mm). It is basically a .40 case necked to .355, a 9mm "magnum".

Thanks everyone for the input, much appreciated! I went for the XD 45, got it new at a far price. To late for me to get out today to shoot so I have to wait until the next nice day I guess. Are there in Indoor ranges near Greensburg? Also got a cheap Uncle mikes conceal holster for now. It's ok but I think I can do better.
