    Merry Christmas to me!

Ok, I know its not a firearm but I had to show off my new knife. Its a Spyderco Delica 4 in foliage green. This is my first Spyderco knife and I'm very pleased. I've been comparing the different models for awhile and finally pulled the trigger Monday. Its slightly larger than my Kershaw scallion that I was carrying, which is what i was looking for. So here's what arrived in the mail today....

I had a spyderco police model it was big and heavy but I liked it. Lost it in the gamelands behind the winery in meadville.
Got a kershaw leek now I like it, $100 cheaper than the police.

Are you saying it doesn't hold an edge very well or were you just that hard on it at work? Edge retention is the main reason I started to look for a new knife. My Kershaw needed resharpened all the time, but I use my carry knife for everything.

I have a Spyderco Delica, it has been a great knife. I'm sure yours will give you good service. Like Jeff, I'm a Benchmade fan. I carry a Benchmade AFO on duty, and a Griptillian fixed blade for hunting. Amazing knives.

That is a sweet looking knife. Never had a spyderco, buddy has one though and loves it. Congrat's man!

I carry a Kershaw Crawford/Casper - nice little knife, stays pretty sharp. Has the LAWKs lever which is nice.
