    10-22

Anyone here have a 10-22 ? I have one and love it , cheap and fun to shoot. It has an old 4x scope that I have sighted in to 100 yrds. So far at my new house ( on 16 ac's ) I have 3 shots and 3 kills at crows in the back yard at 50-100 yrds.

Is yours semi-auto or bolt/lever action? I'm debating on whether to pick up a Mossberg, Marlin, or Ruger 10-22 or just put that money towards my AK.

Everyones gotta have a 10-22 in they're arsenal. the rugers are highly customizable and just plain fun when you run out of the larger more expensive ammo. I feel the ruger is a better deal than most other brands because of the options.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. Found it on a used rack at my local gun shop. $250 with a 3-9 scope and sling. I like it.

I bought a Remington 597 over the 10-22. The accessories are much more limited when compared to the Ruger but it feels like a full size rifle while the 10-22 feels like a youth gun.

i got the 10-22 carbine (shorter stock) for 190ish at dicks. watch the adds, they go on sale every once in a while. those "machine" gun kits are cool, i came across a gatling kit a few years ago that uses 6 rifles. i bought a crank trigger for mine but whenever you turn it to fast it jams the gun. it doesn't eject fast enough.

I have a Ruger 10/22 (semi auto) - and I love it. I find after putting 500 rounds through it, it does jam a little though. That's fine considering you're supposed to clean it every 50... Dirt-cheap target practice.

I have a 10/22, stainless barrel, black syn stock. Its about a year old. I have more fun with the 10/22 than I do with the AR. Just need to get a bigger magazine for it. Wouldn't mind putting some race parts on it, but I'm in no hurry as its a ton of right out of the box. Thinking about getting a Walther P22 to complement the 10/22.

One fun gun! Bought mine used 20+ years ago. New factory SS barrel, SS Butler Creek folder, extended mag release, Shok-Buff, paint removed, and slicked up action. More work pending. So easy to shoot, I prefer open sights. The old barrel had a muzzlebrake and kicked like a pellet gun.
    My kids like it too.
    Wow, that was close!

I dont know about a 10-22 but I do have a Mossburg 22 LR with a 7 round clip. Lots of fun to hunt small game. Mossburg 12 ga for bigger game. 243 win mag for bigger, and 7mm rem mag for really big game.
