    Went to Blue Hole

I ended up in Blue Hole on Sun with a few friends. I wanted to see how the setup worked and do some swiming and diving. Not sure if you all know where this is (you probably do) but it is out past Sechrist U-Pull-It in Perryopolis. For those of you who don't know, There are lots of trails a few water crossings, an area with DEEP mud bogs (pics to follow) And at the end of the trail one hell of an area to go swiming at the falls. You can dive off the rocks on either side of the falls or jump from teh falls.

There are ton of people there, when I pulled up I found an XJ that was buried to teh grill in a hole. It took them over 8hrs to get it out. While I was lending a hand and equipment, four more TJs showed up, got stuck got unstuck then went swiming. It was a hell of a time. Great place to bring trucks, jeeps, quads, dirtbikes, or just walk. There are some burned out cars in the woods and trash laying about, but I am gonna bring in some garbage bags and try to clean up what I can. Other than that, it is a hell of a fun place, and I met a bunch of other guys from the Uniontown area that want to wheel with everyone here.

I think we are gonna head out there again on sunday if anyone is interested. After we finalise a few things, I will post up an official invite/notice in the Ride M&G forum....

I will post pics in a few minutes as soon as I get off the crapper and up load the photos.....

And on with the pics.....(Sorry about the quality, all I had was my cell phone...)

My buddy jumping into the hole from the high wall.

Some guy swinging from the rope swing.

Beware of some of the local rednecks with huge rigs when down there. Last winter they lead Ralphdogg and some others down a few really difficult trails and then split, leaving them stuck overnight. Two days later, all their rigs were finally recovered.

I'm sure he'll chime in with more details if he sees this.

OMG, I need directions, its been years since I have been up there! It was such an awesome time!

Yeah the red necks in the area are PRETTY bad... We had some we-hillbilly on the side of the road missing adult teeth allready (13yrs) asking if the ZJ we were in had 4wd, kinda funny hearing him ask thats all.

Although, I have never been to Creek Falls, I have seen pictures and it looks a lot like Creek Falls to me. I don't think there are that many swimming holes with that much paint on the rocks in that area.

Yeah it's Creek Falls. Blue Hole is a common misnomer... I've found myself using both names because so many people are only familiar with one or the other.

I thought the trail was closed to offroading? I was up there two or so weeks ago and walked to the falls.

There are the cords to the swimming hole.

Watch wheeling back there, it's been closed off by a gun club.

Creek falls has been open, closed, open, closed, open, closed, ETC, ETC for as long as i've known about the place

its never actually been open per say, but normally no one bothers you down there either (unless you piss off a local as before mentioned)

    Blue hole

That stuck cherokee is actually my old 96. I have since moved to new york and got rid of that jeep. I now have a 2000 thats lifted 8 inches with 35's and lots of other after market parts. Lockers, winches, roof rack, 130 watt lights, bushwacker cut out flares. If i can figure out how to post pics of it using my phone. I will.
