    Super Noob tire question

So I was looking at my bike the other day and I am thinking that my rear tire is on backwards??

    The question is 2 parts.
    1) Should the rear tire rotational direction go the same way as it would on a car? (both having directional tread)
    2) Should the front tire go the opposite way or the same as the rear?

I tried google but I suck at searching I guess.
There is no rotational direction markings on the tire, I'm just going by the design of the tread.

    Thanks!

Usually the rear tire chevrons if you want to call them that, are backwards to gather in, not forward to did outwhen the tire spins. Remember you don't have a throttle, you get maybe three pumps spinning before all momentum is gone(and you fall over or put a foot down.LOL). The front arrow on top looking down points forward. If you break hard enough it will dig before you would endo. So they are opposite each other(usually)

every bike tire I've looked at had a directional arrow on the sidewall, sometimes you gotta actually LOOK good to find them though.

Ok got some pics up now.

    This is my tire.

This is my wife's bike, but the tire on my bike was mounted for the same rotational direction. I believe it is on wrong. Rear tire viewed from above.

the bottom one is how mine are mounted on both mine and my wifes bikes (though they are the generic 'mountian bike tread' patterns)

who knows what I was thinking about with the sidewall arrow thought too... musta been a long day at work.

Yeah I think my tires are too "low end" to have the directional arrows Lol. According to google the higher end tires have them.
The only reason I am thinking mine are on backwards is that I was trying to climb some hills and it didn't seem like I could get any traction?
