    ^ haha my friend's dad has one its like he's dancing with it before he starts it, two leans to the left to get fuel in the carb, two twists of the throttle, get it to TDC with the kicker and then toss all your weight on it and boom! it lights off haha

    Yep - your going to the ER!

    My buddy had one of those - scared the heck outta me in the woods so I always took it easy when I rode it on the dirt. Then one day I was riding it up & down the paved back road in front of my old house in the country doing 5th gear wheel stands on the half mile long straight stretch down past the house & just plain having a great time!

    Then genius me gets the bright idear to pull the front end up in 3rd & shift to 5th like the crotch rocket guys do.

    Well - any of you guys realize how quick a bike that can easily loft the front tire in 5th gear will straight flip the heck over when cracking it in 3rd?

    Let me inform you - FRICKIN FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    On the plus side, the engine had so much rotational mass that once I let the throttle snap back to idle it gently placed me down on the pavement & calmly slid off the road out of the way so I could pavement surf by in pc.

    Oh - and FYI;
    If you think you've finally come to a stop & you put your hands down to get up & they start burning - that's a fairly strong indicator your still catching the asphalt wave into shore there Keaweaheulu.

    Nice, gotta love 500cc of single cylinder 2 stroke power. Almost broke my foot one time on a quadzilla when it kicked back on me, was wearing flimsy tennis shoes. Had a limp for two weeks...

    Yeah Jon I was told by my neighbors boyfriend about that dance. I got plenty of experience on big bikes, but it has been many many years since I rode. I am sure it will be one hell of a first ride.

    Nice! And it matches what appears to be a scooter in the pic. Somehow I don't think the scooter will keep up. I hope you are not going from the scooter to the 500. Bit of a dif in power

    I had one in the mid 90's. It had a habit of tearing my hands off the handlebars. Awesome rooster tail machine.

    Where's this vid, I wanna hear the yard pig

    As stated before, a 500 is one of the best hill climbing machines out there for a stock machine. Brutal power & snap. Man I wish my neighbors 500 Husky. First 500 I ever rode, when I was 12 years old to boot, lol

    That's my little brother riding it in the video, goes by Hondarider2000 on here I think.

    The Bike is a hoss, took it for a 20min blacktop ride the other day because it was too greasy on our trails by the house for me to want to ride it and kill myself. Thing pulled the front wheel in every gear I had room for and I was on the tank and weigh 220lbs LOL

    Haha he's 150lb and not sure we have enough room even on the back roads around here LOL workin on lining up a nice smooth mown hay field to wind it ALLLLL the way out in. On my little excursion on the road with it I got all the way through 3rd and hit about 1/4 of 4th gear and was doin easily 65mph i'd imagine, still had almost all of 4th and 5th and it was pickin up in every gear...
