    100 MPG 4x4 "Silverado" Hybrid

Here is a link to Via Motors were Bob Lutz went to when he left GM after the Volt launch. They are producing SUVs, vans, and trucks using technology similar to the Volt. They uses incompletes from GM, Ford, and Ram but obviously mainly GM with Lutz's back ground.

a 4x4 Crew cab Silverado bodied pickup can get 100 MPG equivelant and go near 400 miles for range. The electric motor has 400+ HP.

The bad part 80K if you bought trucks in "volume".

Lutz is the man. Wish he could have stayed with GM, but understand why he left. I still cant believe he got the pontiac solstice to finally be a production reality...a shame they never realized the potential.
