Full blown restoration for use behind the M35A2 planned with stealth camper conversion in the works. Purchased in Greensburg as-is for $400.

^Another picture when I got it home

Today I repaired the landing leg on each trailer (also bought an M103A2) and I took the bows and sides off the M105A2. I'm going to take it to the sand blasting booth soonish

An M105 is too much weight for an XJ. Look into getting an M101 or even smaller M416.

Here is the 1967 M103A2 flat bed I bought as a package deal with the M105. This trailer originally had a gas powered generator mounted on it (still has the ID tags) and I bought it to use for spare brake parts and such for the M105. It also had good tires on it that I took off for the M35. I plan to keep this trailer rolling so I can use it off-road around the house.

Last week I tore into this to start getting it ready for a Memorial Day parade.

    DONE:

    - re-pack bearings and inspect brakes
    - straighten bent tail gate
    - flip lunette
    - replace air line and electrical cable (got them from steel soldiers classified for cheap)
    - mounted spare tire under using M35A2 bracket

    TO DO before next Monday:

    - wire wheel rust spots
    - paint
    - deploy cargo cover and repair/paint as needed
    - stamp and attach new data plate
    - mount license plate and light

    Done and done...

Now I'm going to be hunting for an S250 or similar sized communications shelter to make into a camper. I'll drop it in the bed of the M105A2 or maybe mount it on the M103A2 flat bed I have.
