    The ooooooooh so bad 32.

Just another old beater we got to work on lately. 32 ford, 37??? grill, Hemi out of some wierd marine application with only 22 hours, 5spd, quick change rear. The owner is hoping to have the car done and drive it to Bonneville in August. I wont even really show many pics of what were doing the car comes and goes weekly. The entire hood is hand built by the owner.

That is likely one of the 2 300 cubic inch Hemi's from the 50's, one was 392 cubic inches and the other 331 cubes. They were the most commonly built two displacements, however different 200 cube hemi's exist and it would be REALLY cool if that was a smaller cube version. They shared a block with the poly engines I think, real heavy duty shit and chrysler called them double rocker's and the term hemi wasn't used until the elephant motor really

LOL the design and technology they were implementing and working on was amazing for the time and they ran really good too. They really had some interesting hemi head work and engine design going on during WWII for tank's and aircraft. They had a V12 with hemi heads they were working on for tanks and I think an inline 16cyl with a hemi head and other bling they put into a P47 thunderbolt fighter and pushed that pig over 500mph at 15k feet...I was brought up in a chrysler corporation family and my grandfather worked on P51's in WWII and worked for chrysler from when he got out in '45 til the early 80's, I've always been into WWII piston aircraft and chrysler vehicles LOL
