Went for a spin today. It has high range now but it pops out of gear. If you hold up on the shift lever its fine. Not sure whats wrong with it. One of the brakes wouldn't release because it was packed full of mud.

The lever popping out of high range is common with the M35s. Instead of addressing the issue, a lot of guys make something to hold the lever in the high range position, like a latch that slides over to keep it from falling down into neutral.

If I was going to get a newer one, I'd get the 8.3 cummins. Not the 250.

Not sure what they're going for at auction.

I've seen prices from $6k - $12k or even more if a bidding war fires up.

Hey, whats the paint code/type on that PPG? Are the stars a decal or did you paint over a stencil?

PPG "Olive drab flat". The stars are paint and the lettering is just decals.

His fuel pump took a shit on the way to norwin hills car show today. It's spending the night in the advanced auto parking lot. Should be good to go for bovard next week.

Running good now. A simple spring fixed the popping out of high range problem. He put some super singles under it.
