It fits!!!!!!! I actually need to back the jeep up about a foot or so on the trailer. But it pulls great! no sway at all. You definitly know that you are towing something. But the 7.3 gets the job done.

nice! does it affect your turning radius at all with the camper mounted up that close? cant tell for sure in the pics but it just looks like it would hit.....

Nope it clears just fine. THe camper is only hanging over the tounge about 8 in.

What's the tow rating on the excursion?

I believe it is 10k in 02 they upped it to 11k.
Im pretty sure the hitch is the limiting factor.

Srry it is 11k and gcwr is 20k for the 7.3 4x4.
