Thanks to Hotrod's sharp eye & experience, the RC is getting the front spring packs swapped and straightened out. New poly bushings are going in the front end, and a couple of other items addressed as well.
It's a day that ends in "Y," so it must be at Gibbs!

Got 'er back yesterday - MAN what a difference in the steering, with the spring packs on the correct side, and new poly bushings!!! The steering is much crisper, and with the Hughes plenum fix installed, I'd swear it's even a little peppier in 1st & 2nd gear!
Now if I could JUST find some mud...

I'm pretty sure it's the picture angle. Dave re-geared it, and would've caught THAT. No grinding - no binding!
