Dana 30 - Spindle Bearing question

Merry X-mas to all! I was hoping someone could answer a question I have regarding a Dana 30. I developed a wheel vibration (on the front passenger side) that started at 40+ mph. Changed the wheel bearings (filled with dirt) and developed an even worse vibration starting at 15 mph. The axle has some play but the u joints seem good (will probably change them anyways). I think I have narrowed my problem down to a worn spindle bearing. Anyone ever change it or anyone ever have one go bad? Anyone know how to remove the old one? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I will asume this is a CJ. Its easy to change a spindle bearing. Pull off the spindle and its in the back side of it. Though did you check your ball joints? They cause the same kind of issues.

Yes, 85 cj7 and I did check the ball joints (Like the U-joints, they are good, but will probably change). I have the spindle in hand and can see the Spindle bearing inside. Not real sure how to get it out. I don't really see a place to rest a punch so I can tap (or beat) it out.

More than likely you will destroy the current bearing. Nothing else pry the needles out and use a punch or screwdriver on the lip that creates.

I don't think a spindle bearing will give your front end a wobble. It has locking hubs right ? If it does than your axle isn't turning going down the road so the spindle bearing isn't doing anything.
You have to beat it out from the opposite end, there is a lip there.
Make sure your wheel bearings are adjusted properly too, too loose they will wobble, too tight you will burn them up.
