JD2, 1.5" 180 degree die. For the money is this what I want or is there something else better? I have $800 set aside for a bender and cage for my Teryx. But I'm flexible if it's worthwhile.

800 for the bender and material for the cage?
I have a jd2, it works great, I would like to add the hydraulics to it. I think my bender and one die came to about $800 I would buy another jd2. You won't find anything super fancy with air/hydro etc. in your price range unless prices have come down. Dies were $3-400 iirc. Tube was anywhere from $4-5/ft for hrew and $5.50-7/ft for Dom.
I think the other popular bender is a pro tools or something like that? I would see if anyone close to you has a bender and match what they have, if they're cool you can always share dies then.
I have 1", 1.5", and 1.75" all 180* dies for the jd2 you'd be welcome to borrow, but I think I am kinda far from you.

Hammered paint... The mullet of the jeep world
I have a JD2 and 1.75" die. I'm in Warrendale and you can try them both before you buy if you want. Not sure if that is closer to you or not. No location in your profile.
It's not illegal, it's frowned upon.
is the teryx cage 1.5 stock?
