Dana, they are talking in code. Must be the tree huggers sneaking onto the board. We just aren't cool enough to part of it all.
Gotta be a special place in heaven for those girls who believe in making a lot of guys happy instead of making one miserable

It ain't tree hugger is Fayette-na-mese. Us Congster's can understand each other even though ive been relocated. Once a Fayette-cong, always a Fayette-cong!

Hi,
Peter Marmie was my GGGGGrandfather. I just discovered him and the Alliance Furnace about 9 months ago. I went to see it and loved it there. I came across your site while continuing to research Peter Marmie. The picture of the tombstone from 1809 and the other tombstones fascinate me. I was wondering where they are exactly located at if my back is towards the furnace remains looking down at Jacob's Creek? When I was there I did see a few off-roaders driving through the creek and riding on a trail. Who owns the property there?
Thank you for any info,
Maggie
I just posted about Peter Marmie and thought I was connected to this Thread. Oh well. I am the GGGGGrandaughter of Peter Marmie. I was at the Alliance Furnace about 9 months ago. I had just learned about him and this place. If I'm looking at Jacob's Creek with my back to the furnace where are these tombstones located at? Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
