    The Misfit

It feels great to have a winter project in the garage, Im pretty burnt out on my house renovation. This Geo Tracker was a parts vehicle that was on its way to the scrap yard. It has a title and runs like a champ, so I couldn't let it go to the crusher! My plans are....... A soft top regular cab, extended wheelbase with a truck bed, 30" rubbers and lots of armor. For now I'm dealing with the rust repair, and lots of it. Hopefully I can get her on the road by spring.

The x90 was a cool vehicle, I loved the trunk for secure storage. I'm getting tired of fixing up suzukis and selling them. Hopefully this one sticks around for a few years.

I love those things. Tiny, cheap to build... easier than a sxs, and if you want, it can be street legal.

The body work has been slow but in the mean time I have been collecting parts for the rest of the build. Right now I'm in search of a pair of YJ leaf spring for the rear setup. Once the body is finished I want to start on extending the rear frame, so hopefully I can find cheap leaf springs before that happens.

Dana came today with a sawzall in hand to help with the boat side rockers. The rust was fighting us but I think we made some headway, I have a few tweaks left before welding them solid but the boat sides will be strong and high clearance.

Still plugging away at the rust repair. The boat sides turned into a step/skid plate which I'm still not satisfied with but it will do. I'm moving onward to repair the fenders and hood rust and then I can move on to the fun stuff, suspension upgrades.

Ralph unfortunately isn't much of a welder.
