    Compact vehicle for daily driver

So we got a 99 TJ and 01 xj that get less-than-decent gas mileage and looking to get a daily driver that gets 30+ mpg. Any recommendations?

So far the top two on our list are the Mini Cooper and Kia Soul. For some reason I keep imagining the Kia Soul with mud tires and it just looks...arousing.

Keep in mind, we own jeeps because they are fun to drive and want something that is.......fun to drive. I will not buy a Ford FYI.

Buy a Saturn SC2 with a 5 speed. Fun to drive, super reliable, and 30+ mpg. You can usually snag them for around 2k.

I loved my 2000 Grand Am GT. It was a 4dr 3.4L Ram Air with an auto. I got 32 MPG and it would run 100 mph all day long. My worst ever mpg was 29 and best of 34. I'm not inpressed with shit box cars getting in the 30's. This car rode and handled nice and was comfortable and fun to drive. The only thing bad is get GMs shit pink antifreeze out of it before it eats the engine n cooling system.

That was our previous car, except it wasn't a GT. 1999 Grand Am SE. It was nice but started rusting out underneath.

A mini would be fun to tool around in for a daily. I don't have a lot of faith in Kias for some reason.
