gen 2 19c... i own a glock now... super... now i need a beaver tail

i recently acquired a gen 2 19c that i'm pretty happy with. I have pretty big hands and i get up high on the grip and man i'm getting glock bite pretty bad. enough to make shooting it not fun.

    my buddy sent me this:

    http://www.amazon.com/Grip-Force-Glo.../dp/B004VIZN90

but none of us have ever used one. Just wondering if there's any advice on them. if they're decent or junk, or if there's a better option...

few pics of the new to me 19c. the previous owner had it stippled. which i'm not wild about, but whatever. It's still neat that it's a gen 2.

    That widget will probably work.

I have decent sized hands myself, and no issue on a Gen 3 with slide bite, so I would say try to adjust your grip before you spend money on anything.

Orrrrrrrrrrrr you could sell that and get a Gen 4 model with the changeable back straps.

I can understand a ported barrel on a 34 or even a 17 for competition, but a 19, a 9mm compact carry gun, seems kind of moot considering it's intended use.

I wonder if you get much flash at night?

I have a ported performance center m&p too. But that one has an rmr on top.

I really like the 19c. Follow up shots are quicker. And really no real flash out of the top. No more than the muzzle flash.

And adjusting my grip is tough. I like being up high on the frame. And even as is my pinky is barely on the frame.

Depends greatly on ammo selected. We are issued Glock 31s in 357 Sig, and use Speer bonded 125 JHP. Flash with the Speer ammo is much less than the Winchester Ranger T LE ammo we had been issued prior. My son carries a Glock 34 on the job and has had basically the same experiences re: Speer and Winchester.
