Just picked it up this morning. It's a gt dressed up like a cobra (I know I know)
It also could use the seats recovered. I think im going to do cobra seats without the cobra badges (the tmi ones)
Lowering springs shocks and sways are a given. It already has a borla and bbk intake. Probably do a throttle body and tuner too.
Not too bad for 5k

So i've finally been able to start driving it. when there's not snow or salt on the roads lol.
i tore it all apart... since that's just what we do lol.
first thing i did was lower it 2.2" with H&R SS springs. I added KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts so i could tune it in if i wanted to.
I also traded the wide (but ugly and heavy) wheels/worn tires for a set of cobra wheels with brand new BFG sport COMP II tires.
I traded the ugly cowl hood for a same color GT hood.
I ditched the cobra badges for GT badges and a horse in the grill instead of the snake.
The 8.8 got 4.10 gears and while i was in there i noticed the shafts were worn, so it got alloy shafts with all new bearings/seals.
B&M short throw shifter also went in (50 dollar ebay pick up, can't lose).
On the inside i did 6x8 rockford fosgate components in place of the door speakers with the tweeters going in the stock mach 460 pods. Alpine 6.75" components went in the rear "boxes" with the tweeter going in the stock location. In the trunk are 2 MB quart amp. 800x4 to run the components and 500x2 to run the single 10" rockford sub. I also got a new kenwood head unit off a local guy for 50 bucks (300 dollar unit) that has bluetooth and links to my phone.
Lastly i installed my street 93 bama tune from my SCT X4.
I still have a few things left sitting here to install. I have a steeda clutch quadrant/adjuster/cable to help smooth out the stage 3 clutch. and i have a pypes offroad x pipe... but i'm waiting to get the car through inspection before i install that. also i have the lip for the cobra bumper sitting here. that needs to go on as well to clean up the front bumper area.
anyway, pics:
the last day of january it was in the mid 60's... so kiddo and i took a little ride. i slid it around a corner in a parking garage and she was laughing so hard and begging me to do it again lol. i should be worried... she's too much like me sometimes.

You keep the speedster cover? If so, I hope you took the flames off it!! That looks like someones first attempt at airbrush flames with a template!!
