Installing after market lights to oem fog light switch

I have a 2000 Cherokee looks like all the oem wire and harness are there for fog lights minus the switch I can get one at the junk yard has any one used these to install after market fog/driving lights I want to install set of rigid dulley 2x2 lights using factory wire and relays

Any good ideals on mounting locations

Not sure about the fog lights but it would be a good idea to replace the factory headlight wiring with a putco/arb/diy harness while you are at it. You'll get more light output and no more hot light switch.

I've been running the putco harness on my 01 for a few years now.

I did the exact same thing with my old Cherokee. The wiring was all there for the fog lights, but no fog lights or a switch. I got a switch panel that included the factory fog light switch. Then I plugged the harness into the back of it and cut off all of the wires a couple inches from the switch. Then I just wired the switch up like a normal lighted rocker switch from the auto parts store, connecting into those wires I cut off. Sorry I'm not more descriptive, I did this probably 3 or 4 year ago now and no longer have the jeep. I do remember looking up to see what color wires did what. Point is, you can definitely do it and its not that difficult.
