    Belly height and tire size

A fellow member on the forum was asking me about the clearance height on the underside of my Tracker. At the time we were sitting in camp chairs and could see directly at the belly skid plate which I can’t lie it does look low to the ground. So over the weekend I was looking at a stock JK and it seemed pretty close to my belly height even though I didn’t measure either. Once I got home I had to get out the tape and measure mine, curiosity got the best of me.

So I guess this is the official belly height and tire size thread.

They kept it low but at the expense of width.

That's my favorite build... if I had the money, I would totally build something like that.

You can go wide when there aren't any trees. Lol. would be tough on the east coast.

I agree. It seems to work in Moab, though.

Back on topic, I finally got around to measuring mine:

That thing looks like a lot of fun.

    That's an extreme rig!

I'm planning to put bigger tires on my JK in the near future. Might get some 40's like the Toyo tires MT's or Goodyear MTR's.

Wow a 40” tire sounds huge. What tire size are you running now?
