So i traded my TJ for 2 CJ's.
CJ1 is an 81 laredo on 33's. A to Z cage (really nice cage) and it came with a 30/44 with 4.88's and lockers. those axles are ready to go in.

CJ2... That one is a bit more complicated. CJ2 is an 86. it has a 355 with TBI swapped over and a rebuilt TH350 with shift kit. Nice aluminum dash. It's on ford 9" axles front and rear with 5.13 gears. I'm not sure if they're locked or open yet (picking this up tomorrow. I already picked up the 81). It's SOA on RE 1.5" soa springs. it has a Dana 300 that was installed using a clocking ring for i believe an np205? he said he used a chevy adapter from a chevy tcase but it clocked the tcase way too high. Anyway, it has a really nice cage. any and all rust has been cut out and repaired. the frame is solid. everything is clean. steering is there.
What it needs to be driving/running:
Driveshafts
D300 clocked down
a little wiring needs wrapped up
gauges
shocks
paint
So it's not far off being a good rig. My plan was to lower it down and put 37's on it. BUT, i'm kind of thinking about just selling it and focusing on the 81... Having 2 projects at once plus the vette is a lot lol. But the question is... what's it worth? $3500? that's kind of my gut feeling on price... but it's hard to say. I mean, ford 9" axles front and rear and a V8 is pretty badass...
here's some pics. it did not come with the 8274. he kept that
I have a good windshield frame and windshield
Some pics of the cage:
custom dash and more cage pics
The rockers come all the way under the body and tie into the body mounts
Shackle reversal and you can see the 9" front
Fresh 355 and rebuilt TH350 with shift kit
TBI works but you have to power the fuel pump, ecu, and coil for it to start (hence the wiring that needs completed).
i'm just torn...
