Make your life easy for brake lines. Run SS braided -3AN from the MC to the caliper. Go with 24" increments, and then you can field fix anything that may get damaged. Speedway motors have the best prices on that stuff.
Something catchy goes here.
I made my own lines with regular straight braided line with fitting on the ends, bought whatever banjo bolts I needed. Had an -AN style fitting or maybe just a regular flare, don't remember any longer. Bought everything from poly performance, probably somebody else closer and cheaper. http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...l#.UlbQ8VCTiSo and bought straight sections of line like these http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...l#.UlbRE1CTiSo although you could make it all yourself if you wanted. I just didn't want to make my own lines for something that important.

Looks good, Tom. Finish it!
If memory is correct, I got two different rebuilds on the chevy calipers I used on my 60s. One had a metric thread, the other was sae and the disks I used in the rear were sae but a different size. All you need is the correct thread banjo bolt, and you can buy the correctly sized banjo to match. You can buy 90*, etc but it really doesn't matter as long as you keep the line clear from hitting anything.

Glad to see its coming along
Please dont cut up the dash with a bunch of fancy pancy gauges and switches and crap.
Its looking good though. Cant wait to see it out and running!

my TJ was 3" up 10" down in rear and 4" up and 10" down in front.
i liked it. but i also had bumps.
taking unsafe rigs to a whole other level
I'd shoot for 3" or more before you get too far into the bump itself.
Maybe set up the timbrens on a piece of tube to fit into standard bump cans so you can tune it in once you get it out a few times.

a good shock tune and I think you will be fine with 2-3" up travel...
just my thoughts
Tom I don't think I have much over 2-3in of up travel on my XJ I can check tonight if it's not raining out.
