    New truck :D :D :D

2007 F150 FX4, 4-door extended cab, 5.4L 300 HP, 365 lb-ft torque, power bucket seats, 6-disc with mp3 player and ipod connection, power front and rear windows, basically all the bells and whistles you can imagine...

This is it, but it's dark blue instead of black...I'll post some pics up after I pick it up Monday morning (they have to clean it and put gas in it)...all the paper work is done.

I love mine. Only diff is mine is SuperCrew and no FX4 package. It has lots of power and an fuel bill to match. Still a nice truck to drive. See if you can count how many cuo holders it has. I have 6 in the front alone.

    thanks steve.

i test drove an xlt...it was nice, but the fx4 came with buckets, and center console. i think there is only 2 cupholders up front but i could be wrong...the xlt had a few more because of that floor thing it had.

and as far as wheeling, i'm not totally against it. nothing like i did in the jeep, but i'd take it off road no doubt.

Man if there are cupholders in the door panels, I'm not going to know what to do with myself.

ok picked her up this morning...

    Sucks that it's raining..

Anyone know how I'd know if I had tire pressure monitoring system? They said it's standard, but it doesn't come up on the dash...and the valve stems look like the standard old fashioned ones.

Looks nice! Some cars have the tire pressure monitoring system and DONT use those fancy valves. I believe it reads the pressure through a system similiar to an ABS system. Try letting some air out of one of the tires and see if it throws a light? Just becareful, because on some cars, once that light comes on, its a dealer fix to get it to turn off. They have something that looks like a OBD code reader that they run over the tire to clear it. Also, a heads up for when you get your tires rotated, a rotation can be known to throw off the low tire pressure light.

Wrecker, I see where you get your 6 cupholders from...mine doesn't have the cupholders in the dash...mine came with the ashtray instead. Which is cool because my wallet fits in it perfectly.

Here is mine, minus the leather, if you count those two in the back of the center console, I have 6, but I think those are for the back seats technically. You can't see the two to the right of the shifter, but they're there...they are aligned front to back.

Thanks for the tip on the ones in the door...I don't think I would have found those....those are the best cupholders.

Dave, did you just flat out drop the air pressure in one of your tires to see if a warning light comes on or anything? If not, thats a sure way to find out if you have a monitoring system. I'd say lose at least 10lbs and see what happens...

Oh yeah ... shoulda mentioned it...I checked for the warning light on the dash, and it comes on when I first start up the vehicle.

Then I looked through the owner's manual again (should have looked more thoroughly the first time) and I found the info. I do have the tire pressure monitoring system. The valve stems looked the same from the outside because these ones use a different system instead of the GM ones I'm used to where the sensor is attached to the valve.

This system basically consists of 3 pieces...a strap, a cradle, and a sensor. The strap goes around the wheel on the inside...the cradle attaches to the strap to hold the sensor and the sensor snaps into the cradle. The sensor is mounted 180 degrees from the valve stem and sends out a radio signal (which complies with FCC regulations lol) every 60 seconds when you're traveling above 20 mph.

    Anwyay, that's my shortened version.
