    Spacer to help with winch

I picked up a 2" bds lift tonight for the new jeep(tj). My question! I have a bumper tire carrier on the back, and I am planning on building a stubby front bumper to incorporate my MM9000 winch. Will the weight of the spare/highlift/bumper balance the weight of the bumper and winch. Will I need a spacer? I would like to get it all over with in one shot because my heep does not fit in my garage so I have to bum a spot at my buddies.

The bumper will be made of 1/4" entirely because it is on the steel rack in my bay at work..

Or suck it up, let it settle and see what I need..=-( Lol I am impatient!

Umm, unless I'm missing something, a spacer would make you lose height-not gain it

Longer shackles, heavier springs, or an add-a-leave is the only way to gain height on a SUA setup

On a leaf sprung rig, your extra weight will probably result in very minor ride height change

My guess is Cheenin was drinking... I got lost reading his post too.

I can only assume your talking about "Coil Spacers" Personally I wouldnt worry about it until you install everything, then see where you sit, if you need more height then buy the spacers.
