You just need to use: [img]link_to_image[/img]

HTML is disabled in almost every forum I go to. Probably for security reasons.

umm...so apparently it copies the color information, too

Just try [img]link_to_image[/img] and replace link_to_image with the link to your google image.

EDIT: Copy the link from the address bar in the web browser, NOT from this thread.

There is also an option to "Preview Post", where you can preview a post before actually submitting it.

In the upper right of the editing window, there is a button that says "A/A". Click on that and you can get to the text-only editor of the post, not the "what you see is what you get" editor.

Thanks for your help with all of this. I have to leave for a meeting so hopfully I will get back to it this afternoon and figure it out. Apparently I am not as technologicaly capable as I thought
