Stainless, any pipe you buy from a parts dealer is usually $hit.
    Also use stainless welds.

It was a 52 Willy's M-38a1 with a CJ front clip. I bourght it like that. I wished it was still a flattie. It had a 'vette 327 w/ a M-22. No heater, no radio, no carpet. Under the "Truck, utility 1/4 ton M-38a1" tag on the passenger side of the dashh it still was O.D. greene. It was fun but a real money pit. I did the lights(I put Hella H-4's on it too), Roof (the one on it was dry rot canvas) and upgraded the ignigiton from points to a MSD HEI.
The brakes, suspension were original equipment and a real mess. It was a m-fer to stop...Tiny,manually adjusted drums.

Make friends w/ someone that does inspections. Put a turndown tip on the back of your muffler and call it a day. I never had a problem busting tailpipes off after that mod!
