    Damn man, that sucks!

You know, if you still had the X, this wouldn't have been as big of a deal.

Er...wait, you didn't have an aftermarket bumper, nevermind.

Oh that sucks. Glad that you and the missus (if she was in there) were all right (at least I'm assuming you are since you didn't say otherwise).

Man, that sucks. That is a damn fine buck. I've been sitting in the woods for 2 weeks with a bow when all I needed to do was drive my father in law's Patriot and they would come to me! Sh*t.....

YES! Thats awesome! Not so much for the Patty, but cool you got a buck and didnt even have to shoot it!

My dad hit one with a semi once, sucker ran right into the fuel tanks. Cops showed up and said he was responsible for it, so he gutted it, tossed it in the back, and brought it home to be butchered.

Penndot workers in Westmoreland and Fayette county carry cordless sawzalls for that very reason. I even have a distant (very distant) relative who picks them up sometimes days after they're hit in front of his house. I gave him my doe a few years back and he had 16 deer hanging in his garage. I made the mistake of asking who shot them all!

Nice buck. That looks like a total loss to me, but then again I'm not an insurance adjuster. Glad everybodies ok, it could have turned out way uglier. How fast where you going?

the game commission wants 10$ per point if you want to keep the rack so do not report it to them.

Tell the game comission that if it is their deer they should pay to fix his car.

If you wanted to keep the meat the game comm will give you a free tag for the deer when you hit one all you need to do is call and notify them.

I wouldn't wanna even deal with that meat... it would have to all be made into sausage. You can tell in the one picture that most of it's ribs and back are broken.

That is when you take the backstraps and maybe the hind quarters and give the rest to the dogs... I feed my dogs raw deer meat when I butcher mine they dont seem to have any problems with it. I mean if you think about it the game commisioner will just get rid of the deer why not get some food out of it? Or if you have alot of land leave some for the bears and coyotes.

Sorry to see that man, I feel your pain. I hit one 2 weeks ago in my Mazda, and $8000 later its gettin fixed. The air bags alone were almost $2000. Maybe you'll get lucky and get your truck. Good luck!
