    Oil pressure

I recently changed my oil with 10w40 pennzoil and my oil pressure has been about 10-13 at idle hot and its like 30-40 running hot down the road.
its never been that low its always been like 40 or so idle then 60 or so running down the road.
    Normal or not??

Do you always use 10/40, or did you step up from 10/30?

Your oil pressure sending unit is probably going bad.

chec the connectors too, when I thought it was my sending unit, the connectors were just a bit corroded, original one worked fine after cleaning.

Yeah thats what mine was doing before it went out completely. It would fluctuate alot and I thought it was actually a problem when in turn it was what just what everyone else has described so far.

Unfortunately I'm being lazy about fixing it so the gauge is still pegged at the max. I'll get around to it eventually.

.....then again that used to be my motto until I got the Jeep...now THAT doesn't even work half the time.
