i had a van come into the shop with the duratrac's on it they actually look a lot better in person but on the test drive they were pretty loud, could hear them at 20 - 50 even over highway traffic noise
I think they are a decent competitor to the BFG AT KO's... here is my two cents for a daily driver (DD) rig with AT tires:
1) BFG AT K/O wear great last for ever and bite really well on the trails
2) General Graber AT2 similar to BFG AT tread- about $70 less.. but don't last as long
3) Duratracs... they are a goodyear.. and I am suprised they even made my top three but they clear the mud well.. but tend to lump and are less tolerant of suspension issues and tire rotation/alignment wear.
I've had mine since Feb. and i really like em. They are fantastic in the snow! They are starting to get a little hum to em but still not bad at all compared to the KM2s they replaced (obviously) and I'm gettin great wear out of em. I've probably got close to 10k on em and they still look brand new. But yeah just like any tire ya gotta rotate em. Id recommend em for any DD.
