    Nemacolin off road driving academy

My wife's work place is sending all the employees to Nemacolin for a weekend. They are also paying for an activity and I cant decide on either the sporting clays or the off road driving. Has anyone experienced the off road driving academy? Im imagining yuppys with Birkentocks driving around the mall. But I would like to drive a Rubicon and keep an open mind that not all off roading is extreme.

It was a long time ago so they may have changed it but I did a lot of their off-road driving course in a Subaru wagon one night. Then again, you can make it fun by leaving the Jeep in 2wd or trying to do the course without dropping below 10mph. I would probably do the sporting clays, though.

It’s not too difficult but fun, we did a few Jeep Jamborees there years ago and Yamaha did their SxS demos there this summer. Do the Jeep thing, you can shoot sporting clays any time for like $45

Sounds like Tom is right. And for $45 you could shoot clays too if you wanted.

I'm going there on the 26th to run a load of their trails. Have been a couple of times before, including setting up one group visit from PGH Offroad. They have a good mix of trails!

Did you move back to Pittsburgh?

I would go for off-road driving lessons.

Not as such. I am now working in Iraq! I get a lot of time off though and come back to Pittsburgh in some of it.
